[Open Spam, Flood Day Two, Anywhere on the Barge]

[Peter thinks he's been here for a few weeks, now, and he still hasn't been assigned an inmate, which means for the most part, he just keeps out of the way of people. He's not anything special - just a normal, human kid who screwed up and got a lot of people hurt, and now he was trying to make up for it in what was probably some version of purgatory.

So he keeps to himself, mostly. He knows he's probably depressed, but he's really not interested in talking about it with anyone, so he eats alone, works alone, and wanders the Barge alone, which is what he's up to now.

People who aren't affected by the flood will notice his posture's a little more hunched in on himself than usual, and he's got on a dark sweatshirt with the hood up, which is definitely not normal for the Peter Parker who's actually been on board for the last several months. He generally avoids eye contact, keeps conversations short, and pretty much comes off as a moody, deeply unhappy teenager. Which is really what he is.]

[She finds him eating by himself in the cafeteria and that seems like an easy enough thing to fix, so Cass brings her tray over and sits across from him. It's not until she's sitting and looking at him more closely that she sees a problem.]

Peter?

[She's never seen him this down before. The body language is mostly the same, the things that make him Peter are still there, but she can tell whatever alternate reality he's from, it must not be a very good one.]

[Peter doesn't look up until she addresses him, and when he does, it's clear he's not really thrilled about suddenly having company, although he's really more surprised than anything else. Usually, people are content to just leave him alone to sulk by himself.]

Yeah?

[Oliver's currently puzzling over how to break into the pub. He's snuck into clubs before, this can't be any different than that, right? So what if he doesn't have a key, he's never needed a key before. He's Oliver Queen for fuck's sake.

Anyone passing by will see a well dressed playboy, staring at the pub door like it's his enemy. He just wants a drink, this place sucks.]

Everything okay?

[She's clearly concerned and not really showing any signs of going anywhere now that she's settled and seen he's apparently not having the best of days.]

[Usually, Peter would just ignore it and let someone else deal with the problem, but something about the way Oliver's staring at the pub door makes him stop and sort of halfheartedly ask him what's going on.]

You need something?

[myresponsibility]

Fine. [Even though literally everything about his body language is screaming that everything is not fine, and it hasn't been in a very long time, because, well. It hasn't.] Why?

Don't seem fine. Want to talk?

[myresponsibility]

[He looks back down at his plate, pushing his food around on his plate with his fork.] Not really.

[greenarrowed]

Yeah, inside. You're a Warden, right?

[myresponsibility]

Yeah. [He takes a couple steps closer to the door and then stops, staring at Oliver.] Your warden care?

[greenarrowed]

Does it matter if he does?

If you're gonna try killing someone with a beer bottle, yeah.
