[Peter Parker, Spider-Man, whichever you prefer to think of him as - and God knows Peter kind of goes back and forth depending on the day and the situation - is a lot of things. One thing he's not?
A covert agent.
Like, seriously, not at all. He's got no skill, no training, no practice in trying to convincingly pass himself off as another person, and of course it's not until now that he's really thinking about how it might have been a good idea to practice this more before they got dumped in this universe again.
But at least he remembers what it was like to be his counterpart, which is better than he could say if this was the first time it was happening to him, so he throws on a black hoodie, pulls the hood up and does his best to look like a grouchy, miserable pain in the ass. It's... not great, but maybe it'll be convincing enough for now to fool people.
Well. Except maybe Anya, and he wonders if Scott's going to be able to smell if he has mountain ash on him. Probably.
At least he knows he's got one friend on board still, and that's enough to get him out of his room and looking for the others. He does his best to avoid anyone who's obviously different, but he needs to know what he's dealing with when it comes to the rest of his friends, and this somehow seems better than trying to hit anyone up over the network.]

Hey there, bug boy.
[ which is still a term of endearment?? but she's not exactly playing things sweet right now. she's still got her fingers gripped on his hood, and she uses that to pull him down for a kiss. and it's a kiss kiss, not really a hello kiss. in the middle of the hallway. woops. ]

Like, really weird. Weirder than it already is. (It's already pretty weird.)
And that is definitely not her shirt, where did she even get that?]
Hi? [Oops, that was way too high pitched. He quickly tries to cover up the slip, frowning again.
Man, this is going to suck.] I mean, uh, what was that for?

[ maybe that should be a clue that something's off, but despite the fact that they've Been Through Some Shit, she's chalking it up to the fact that he is still just a teenage guy. it happens. guys can be surprised by kisses, even Peter, with his crazy senses. ..speaking of that.
she lets go of his hood and takes a step back, lifting on her toes and turning 180 so she can continue down the hall, ( expecting him to follow )with her hands clasped behind her back. the picture of complete innocence. sure. her tone is singsongy when she speaks up again ]
I've got a secret to tell you.

Is any of this even coming off?
Peter pulls the hood back up and shoves his hands in his sweatshirt pockets again as he follows her, figuring he might as well play alone with this. How bad off is Gwen? Can he talk her into helping him out, or is she going to be someone there's no way he can count on.
That's a really depressing thought.]
What is it?

[ she turns again so she's walking backwards, eyes glowing bright for a second before she laughs ]
Guess who took your spot?
no subject
What.
How is that a good idea??]
Are you serious?

[ her eyes are practically twinkling, like she's excited, looking for trouble. maybe she is. ]
Are you mad?
[ that shouldn't sound like a challenge, and yet ]

How many other people has Scott turned? How bad is this going to be?
At least it's not hard to sound shocked, and maybe a little angry.]
Why?
