[Filtered to the Crew of the Redeemer]

[Peter - who looks a little younger and scruffier than his Barge counterpart, as in his hair's longer and his clothes are a little too big for him and definitely in need of a wash - clicks on the video feed and smiles sort of nervously, like a kid asking for permission to borrow his dad's car for the first time, and, really, that's not too too far off from what he's doing here.]

So, I know we've apparently got company on the other side of the island, but- [And again, he looks a little sheepish, because he really should be waiting for orders before saying something like this to everyone, but.] I thought maybe it might be a good idea to go scouting and see if there's anything we need on the island? Like food, or some more fresh water or something?

[He quickly tacks on another question.]

Unless someone needs me for something on board the ship? [See look, he's task oriented and stuff!

But no seriously, he just wants to get off the boat.]

[Spam for the Beach]

[Not long after making the message, Peter isn't sticking around to have anyone tell him otherwise and is scrambling off the boat and onto the beach. He's not really sure what he's planning on doing or what he hopes to find here - well, actually, he's definitely got some ideas, but even he's able to admit that some of them border on completely out of the question/way too fanciful, so there's that - but he really just wants to get out and about and stretch his legs a little.

When his feet hit the sand and he readjusts to being on dry land again, he casts about looking for anyone else who'd been ordered off the ship or just decided to appreciate the fact that they were somewhere other than the naval vessel and more or less out of each other's hair for the time being. He didn't see any sign of the pirates, which he figures is a good thing, and starts looking around for the people he's become friendly with in his time on board, namely Alex, because he was usually more or less friendly and didn't mind Peter hanging around as long as he was willing to help out when necessary, which he almost always was.]

[ooc: Peter is a fifteenish year old orphan turned cabin boy who really just does odd jobs on board and tries to keep busy/out of the way as much as possible. He doesn't hate being part of the navy, he's definitely a little enchanted by/actually believes in all those old folklore-y tales and kind of wants to find buried treasure. Because that would be cool.]
