So, we've got a lot of people talking about finding stuff to do, or like, being kind of out of synch with the rest of us, timeline wise - between psycho brain experiments anyway, dude, really? - and since Lydia was talking about movie nights and stuff, I was thinking we should watch Star Wars again.

I know it's weird doing this kind of thing when like, people know about some of us from movies or whatever, but where I'm from, if you wanna get by in the 21st century, you've gotta see it.

Actually, maybe we should make a list. What other pop culture stuff should people definitely know about?

[This reply takes awhile to come, and naturally it almost doesn't at all. It's very, very tempting to simply ignore, especially when that option is flat out offered from the start.

Only he realizes, much as he'd rather not think about what happened at all...so long as they're on the subject, there are a few things he'd like to say.

When the video feed turns on Blight is standing facing away from the camera, a short distance off, hands clasped together behind his back, making the pretense of gazing out the window.

Not looking back at Peter, his voice starts out cold and quiet.]

You owe the Red Hood a favor, or at the very least your thanks. And I would hope you better tell him as much personally. If he hadn't intervened...there might not be any way to know for certain what would have happened, but I can guarantee things would have gotten messy.

How much do you know now; how much do you remember about...being him?

[Does he know how McGinnis allegedly got his start as being the new Batman? How Blight became Blight? Does he know about the submarine, how Blight ended up here?]

[And he doesn't need a lecture on what he owes him - he knows. And has been beating himself up about it and tried to think of ways to make it up to him, and it's not something he's planning on messing up.]

I don't know who he was, so I don't know what's the same and what's just me. [A lot of stuff felt like his life, just... different, so he doesn't know if that's more him or whoever Batman's supposed to be.] I guess I could tell you what I remember.

[And normally he can talk Scott into pretty much anything -- hello, let's go find a dead body in the woods, Scottie -- and he does not understand why Scott is so resistant to the greatest movies of all time. Does not compute.]

So, there was this flood where we kind of thought we were Han Solo and Luke Skywalker? It was Halloween, we had costumes and everything, so when it was over, I kinda made him watch it.

First, for watching Star Wars with someone other than him the first time, when he's been trying to get him to watch them for basically the entire length of their friendship. And secondly. For not bothering to tell him he'd finally watched the movies. Scott, you are in deep trouble. :x]
