Hey kids, [Peter gives a friendly wave. He's wearing his Spider-Man costume again, and might be sitting on the ceiling of his room. You can see the corner of his desk upside down from where he's sitting.]

My name's Spider-Man, and I wanna make one thing totally clear: you haven't been kidnapped, you're gonna get home soon, and we're gonna do everything we can to make sure you're having an okay time when you're here.

So, who's left? How're we doing with the kitchens and stuff? I might not be ready to go on Iron Chef, but I can make grilled cheese and soup, if we're short staffed.

And seriously, just so we're totally, totally clear: anyone who messes with any of the kids is getting webbed to the ceiling and left there until the flood's over, if you're lucky. Don't try it.

[Gosh, he's so distressed. Kira's kind of fascinated; and well, she knows she's won. She can be nice now.]

Okay. Don't cry. Just...Batman is cool. But so is Spider-Man. Okay?

[Grace in victory. She'd hug him if they weren't on the comms.]

[ He scrubbed hard at his nose before glaring at her. But he didn't say anything. He just disconnected.

He could be found very easily, though. He's hiding in the level 7 common room, pouting in a little angry ball on the floor, tucked behind one of the chairs. ]

[It doesn't take her long to find him. When she gets there she doesn't say a word, she just curls up next to the chair he's behind, places a stack of comic books on the floor, and shoves them toward him.

They're all Batman.]

I'm sorry I was mean. [Even if he was meaner.]

[ He glared at the comic books, without actually looking at her, before hiding his face again. His glasses were on the floor nearby. They were bent and cracked, looking as if he'd stomped on them. ]

[She too looks at the glasses, her expression becoming a horrified gasp.]

Oh no! [She rolls forward onto her knees to collect the glasses, cradling them gently in her hands as if they were a weak little kitten. Then she holds out her hand to him.]

C'mon. We gotta find someone to fix 'em.

[ But he's still pouting. And not looking at her. ]

Just put 'em in the trash. That's where stupid nerd stuff goes.
