[The video is upside down. Or, rather, Peter is sitting in a ceiling corner in the level six common room, upside down, and you're getting a weird camera angle as a result. Feel free to adjust your screens accordingly.]

You know, [He starts off, sounding generally more conversational and maybe slightly bored than anything else. Not having an inmate or much really to do is kind of wearing on him.] I know it's like, the butt of every joke imaginable, but Dungeons and Dragons? Way more fun than just sitting around here waiting for the next disaster port to hit, and I don't really think it deserves the bad rep it gets. Crazy, I know, but you might even enjoy it if you gave it a shot.

I mean, a few of you I wouldn't necessarily want to be Dungeon Master or anything - I've seen people who aren't world leaders turn into power crazy psychos, figure we don't need to dump gasoline on any fires - but seriously, might be a decent way to kill some time.

Orrrr anyone got Scattergories? Or Pictionary or something? The copy of Monopoly I found stashed under the television's missing most of the pieces, but honestly, Monopoly is pretty much the worst board game ever invented anyway. Probably not worth tracking down the top hat piece.

[ooc: Peter is affected. c:]
walkingmeltdown: (but you came up with the right kind☠)

I imagine it would be. [Uninterested.] No offense but it sounds to me like your problem was, you weren't very good at choosing your 'friends'.
walkingmeltdown: (now you better hear me☠)

[personal profile] walkingmeltdown 2014-03-29 07:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah. I'm beginning to understand your aversion to the experience, then.
walkingmeltdown: (you did it to yourself and it's over☠)

[personal profile] walkingmeltdown 2014-03-29 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
And you honestly think Pictionary is a better call? It's basically a glorified version of Hangman.
walkingmeltdown: (i would rather live and let be☠)

[personal profile] walkingmeltdown 2014-03-30 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Agree to disagree, then. Not that I have any intention anyway of signing up to play any board game, even ones I have a vague memory of enjoying in what's practically another life.
walkingmeltdown: (i don't have the patience☠)

[personal profile] walkingmeltdown 2014-03-30 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
Because I can't really remember the last time I played a board game, and I think no one on this dump has realized I'm fifty-eight years old. [...Dammit.]
walkingmeltdown: (you let your pride or your ego☠)

[personal profile] walkingmeltdown 2014-03-30 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
I don't care about -- [Frustrated noise.] I wasn't actually going to say that, out loud. It just came out. What's going on around here?
walkingmeltdown: (that is not the way i get down☠)

[personal profile] walkingmeltdown 2014-03-30 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
You're clearly someone who doesn't put much value on your privacy.
walkingmeltdown: (now let me show you☠)

[personal profile] walkingmeltdown 2014-03-30 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
Well, there are still plenty of things I presume no one here knows about me, and that I have absolutely no interest discussing.

If this is really how it's going to be, then I think I'm avoiding the phone for the rest of the day.
walkingmeltdown: (exactly how the breaking point sounds☠)

[personal profile] walkingmeltdown 2014-03-30 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
[He just...makes a short, aggravated sound and hangs up. Sorry, Peter. Other things on his mind now.]
