So, Bond graduated, and he's gone. Like, disappeared gone. Like, literally disappeared in front of someone gone. [And Peter's... actually really kind of upset about it, but he doesn't really want to just talk about that to everyone on the network right now, so he leaves it at that.]

I'm sticking around.

[He almost says he'll be in the CTS if anyone needs to find him, and clicks off the feed instead.]

[Private to the Admiral]

Can I have a cat? Like, a kitten, I guess?

Just a normal Earth cat, if you can get it from a shelter or something, that'd be cool.

[Private to Cass]

You doing okay?

[Spam for the CTS]

[The thing he misses most about home - besides Gwen and Aunt May, anyway - is webslinging, and while the CTS can help with that, it's still not really the same.

Today though, he's really going in for one reason, and it's not that. He just wants to let off some steam, to try and cope with this latest loss, and so he's almost relieved when the CTS just produces a basic setting with almost faceless thugs to beat up.

It feels good, to be able to sense punches coming and react in his usual lightning-fast way instead of the sluggish, unnatural feeling he'd had to deal with in port without his powers, and he lets himself really let loose. He moves way more quickly and instinctively than it probably looks like he'd be able to, considering he's tall and scrawny and doesn't look all that threatening. The thugs are dealt with quickly, and he runs through a couple scenarios before stopping for a break.]

I guess that answers any questions about whether or not I wanted to be an extra in Master and Commander. [Although, really.] That said, it definitely could have been worse. I mean, can you imagine if we ever got stuck somewhere like that, permanently? I'd take running water and modern medicine over pirates any day, I don't care how cool Jack Sparrow makes it look.

[Private to Alex]

Bummer about not finding any treasure.

[Private to Racetrack]

Hey. [... now what to say :|] I know this is weird, but. You do get kind of used to breaches.

[And Public, after he's realized SOMEONE hasn't seen Star Wars]

Alright, so, who here hasn't seen Star Wars? Kinda sounds like we need to have some kind of group movie night when people are taking a break from being all obsessive about port.

[Private to Bond]

I'm making Alex watch Star Wars. You should come. I promise I won't make you watch any of the prequels.

[Warden Filter]

So, uh, has anyone else noticed any weird, panels or something like- [And Peter is turning on the video feed, fumbling with the camera for a moment and pointing it at the wall. You can see Peter's hand stretch out and gently pull back a misaligned wall panel to reveal it pulling away slowly, leaving a gap between it and the innards of the wall, which is definitely big enough for someone to squeeze through if he moves it a couple more inches.] This?

I don't want anyone to like, freak out, [Considering they were doing that enough already.] because it doesn't look like something broke it or anything, but. It's still weird.

[And, you know, deeply concerning if the Barge was actually falling apart or something.]

Has anything like this happened before?

[Private to Bond]

Dude, where are you?

So, Tim and I were kinda trying to figure out some stuff about how this place actually works, but obviously he's not around anymore, so... Is there anyone who's been, I don't know, studying how we don't, you know, asphyxiate and die when we go out on deck, or how the rooms work or whatever?

I mean - not to get anyone's hopes up or whatever but - maybe there's a way to turn off whatever messed up the hallways and common rooms or something.

[Private to Alex]

You ever find out what was going on with Zero?

[Private to Banner]

Thanks for letting me help out back during that whole thing. I know I'm not like, actually a doctor or anything, but if you ever want an extra set of hands, I could, you know, help.

[Private to Bond]

You've been kinda quiet. [Is this the good kind of quiet, or are you brooding/getting up to some other horrible mischief. :|]

So. [Guess who has two thumbs and isn't going to be talking about the flood or anything else that's been going on lately? THIS KID.] How common, exactly, are superheroes or vigilantes and stuff a... thing in your world? Because we sort of just had the one back home, and it kind of seems like there's about fifty of them on the Barge alone.

[He hesitates a beat before continuing, because this is just fucking weird to be talking about, even though it seems like there are a lot of people who are pretty cool about the whole I can juggle cars/set things on fire/kill you with my brain thing on board.]

And if you don't have superheroes, then what about people with superhuman abilities? Or, I don't know, what's normal on your home planet, if you're not from Earth?

You don't have to answer if you don't want, I'm just, you know. Curious.

[Private to Bond]

[He doesn't really want to talk about this at all, honestly. Buttt he does want to acknowledge it and say thanks, too, so. Keeping it short and sweet. B(]

Thanks. For not telling her about why I'm here.

[Private to Oliver]

Seriously?

[YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID, OLIVER.]

[Private to Alex]

So, I'm Spider-Man. [...] Which you probably guessed by now, but. I thought it was fair, considering, you know. [That truth flood. B(]

Sorry.

[Peter is sitting at his desk in his room, legs pulled up onto the chair and crossed in front of him. It's a sort of awkward fit - Peter's as tall as he is skinny, even though he's definitely gained some muscle mass since getting bitten by the spider - but it doesn't quite look uncomfortable. His expression, though, is sort of another story, because he definitely looks a little uncomfortable. He wasn't affected by the flood, but it was still weird, to see everyone babbling about themselves and letting everyone have access to their insecurities and worries.]

So, uh, how often do floods like that... happen? Not that it didn't make for an interesting couple days or anything, but I kind of figure too much sharing usually just ends badly, especially in a place where everyone kinda seems like they overreact to everything. [And really, he's just counting his blessings he wasn't affected, because too many people have suspicions about who he actually is and what he does already and he did not need to just blab it over the network. B(]

[Private to Bond]

Are you gonna threaten to shoot me again if I ask how you're handling what happened?

[...]

Where did you even get a gun, anyway?

[Spam for the Deck]

[Thus far, Peter had been unable to find much of anything useful when it came to figuring out how just about anything in this place actually worked. Not that it was really unexpected, because everyone had been pretty upfront about there not being much more than theories about how anything actually worked, but he was still curious and wanted to see for himself about a few things.

Like the deck, for example. He and Tim hadn't been able to find any signs of a generator for whatever was stopping them from being sucked off into the vacuum of space, or creating an atmosphere or whatever was actually going on here, and today he'd specifically dug around in his room for a while to find a pair of gloves to further test the theory that it could be a force field keeping them safe.

It was a little juvenile, probably, but considering he couldn't fly and didn't know anyone who could, it was pretty much the best option he had available at the moment, and so for a few minutes, he can be found up on deck lobbing snowballs over the side as hard as he can throw them, waiting to see if they bounce back or hit something. So far, they hadn't, and after a couple tries, he leaned over the deck railing, peering down into the weird... river was probably the best word for it, even though it was definitely not water, and wondered what would happen if he climbed down the side of the ship and tried to touch it.

It seemed like a pretty terrible idea, but he'd be lying if he said he wasn't curious.]

[ooc: So, since Bond officially knows Peter's Spider-Man, feel free to fourth wall him within reason. His updated permissions are here!]

[Private to Bond]

[So. Two things.

1. Peter did not expect to be paired this quickly.

And 2. Peter did not expect his inmate to be James freaking Bond. How are you supposed to warden James Bond? He knew there were people like that on board after talking with Kay - and really, kind of a bummer he hadn't been handed like, Darth Vader's file or something, but hey - but it was still totally unexpected. He'd thought he'd end up with someone who was like, a car thief or a serial killer or basically someone he'd never heard of before, and this was kind of crazy.

Still, he reads the file quickly and doesn't take long after that to get in touch with him over the network, kind of excited to get started on this.]

So- [Oh crap. What is he supposed to call you? Mr. Bond? Bond? James? ... Jimmy?

Okay wait, he's chickening out of committing to a name for now.]
We should probably talk.

[Warden Filter]

So, obviously I'm kind of new at this whole thing, and I'm not usually one for gossip, but if anyone's got any information on stuff I should know [Oh crap oh crap seriously Parker you need to decide on what you're going to call him sooner rather than later.] about my inmate, you know, like. From before I got here? Let me know.
